Courtney joined Clarkson on The Kelly Clarkson Show to perform the hit as a duet.

They had their chance, and they didn't blow it! & Juliet star Lorna Courtney made a surprise appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show May 1 to duet with the pop star on her platinum single "Since U Been Gone", which is featured in the Max Martin jukebox musical.

Check out the video above to see the pair rock out in front of a rapt audience!

Together, the pair performed the track as a part of Clarkson's Kellyoke segment, marking the first time Clarkson has publicly performed the song live in several years. Courtney and Clarkson previously recorded a duet version as a bonus track for the original Broadway cast recording of & Juliet.

Following the performance, which opened the May 1 episode of Clarkson's show, the pair briefly chatted about the success of the show's Broadway transfer from the West End, and the busy joy of Tony season.

& Juliet opened its Broadway run at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre November 17, 2022. Packed with a catalog of pop songs, Courtney stars as the titular Juliet in this rewrite of the lovestruck teenager's tragic ending in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Rather than committing suicide after Romeo dies, Juliet decides she would much rather stay alive. Starring are Tony winner Paulo Szot as Lance, Tony nominee Stark Sands as Shakespeare, Betsy Wolfe as Anne Hathaway, Justin David Sullivan as May, Ben Jackson Walker as Romeo, Philippe Arroyo as Francois, and original U.K. cast member Melanie La Barrie as Nurse.
